In its original project nomination, the Lessee proposed a 450 megawatt project offshore Delaware, with estimates that the project will generate enough power to supply electricity for over 100,000 homes. This estimate may change after the Lessee undergoes additional planning and survey work and submits its Construction and Operations Plan (COP) to BOEM. The COP will include details such as the number of turbines that the Lessee proposes to install and the size of those turbines. The COP will provide a better sense of how much electricity the project will produce.
