Lee Tilton

Lee TiltonLee Tilton is Chief, Office of Congressional Affairs (OCA), for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. He has been with the bureau in its various forms for over 20+ years. Lee began his government career in the Gulf of Mexico regional office where he was responsible for developing and implementing web-based systems to deliver data to industry and the public. This led to his being a finalist for the Federal CIO Excellence in E-Government Award in 2003 and a nomination for the Department of the Interior Enterprise Architecture Award in 2007. As Chief, OCA, he oversees a legislative affairs program with responsibility for planning, designing, and executing a program to convey information to the Congress about the organization’s programs, activities and services. Lee holds a B.A., with honors, in Political Science from American Public University, a Graduate Certificate in Legislative Studies from Georgetown University, is a graduate of the USDA's Graduate School Executive Leadership Program, and is a former certified Project Management Professional.
