Lee Tilton is Chief, Office of Congressional Affairs (OCA), for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. He has been with the bureau in its various forms for over 20+ years. Lee began his government career in the Gulf of Mexico regional office where he was responsible for developing and implementing web-based systems to deliver data to industry and the public. This led to his being a finalist for the Federal CIO Excellence in E-Government Award in 2003 and a nomination for the Department of the Interior Enterprise Architecture Award in 2007. As Chief, OCA, he oversees a legislative affairs program with responsibility for planning, designing, and executing a program to convey information to the Congress about the organization’s programs, activities and services. Lee holds a B.A., with honors, in Political Science from American Public University, a Graduate Certificate in Legislative Studies from Georgetown University, is a graduate of the USDA's Graduate School Executive Leadership Program, and is a former certified Project Management Professional.
