The public was invited to participate in a series of in-person Open House public listening sessions hosted by MARCO across the region in July 2016. During these Open Houses, the MidA RPB provided information about the draft Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Action Plan and offered the public opportunities to pose questions and provide input.
Open House public listening sessions were held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on:
- Tuesday, July 12 at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center in Virginia Beach, VA
- Thursday, July 14 at Pozycki Hall at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ
- Tuesday, July 19 at the Ocean Pines Library in Berlin, MD
- Wednesday, July 20 at the Virden Retreat Center at the University of Delaware in Lewes, DE
- Wednesday, July 27 at the Babylon Student Center at Selden Community College in Selden, NY
