For staff in the New Orleans BOEM office, we will re-open a small portion of the ETB building beginning Monday, Sept 20.  Due to damage to the building and COVID building capacity protocols still in effect, we must carefully control access the building and limit where employees work temporarily.  Staff may not be able to work in their regular workplaces.  We are conducting repairs to the facility so that we can return them to fully operational capacity.

If you need to go into the office this week, YOU MUST FIRST NOTIFY YOUR SUPERVISOR ON YOUR REQUIREMENT.  Priority will be given to staff who are relying on Safety & Weather Leave because they cannot work from home.  Your supervisor will then work with leadership and building management to make sure that there is space available for you.  DO NOT REPORT TO EITHER BUILDING UNTIL YOU RECEIVE PERMISSION FROM YOUR SUPERVISOR.  YOU MAY BE OTHERWISE TURNED AWAY.  Your supervisor will inform you if you can work from your office or if you must work in a temporary space.
