The Marine Minerals Administration (formerly known as the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, or BOEM) announced the Final Leasing Notice (FLN) for an Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Mineral Lease Sale offshore American Samoa (Lease Sale PACM-1). The FLN details the provisions and conditions of the leases, including lease stipulations and information to lessees, as well as the lease areas, auction details, lease form, and lease execution. The FLN advances the leasing process to support responsible access to the critical minerals needed to strengthen U.S. supply chains, enhance energy readiness, and sustain the technologies that power the nation’s modern economy.
