BOEM Reschedules Public Meeting for 2019-2024 National OCS Offshore Oil and Gas Leasing Program

02-13-2018

As many of you are aware, the public meeting scheduled for Feb. 5 in Tacoma, Washington, regarding the 2019-2024 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program (National OCS Program) was postponed because the venue at the time was no longer available.

The meeting has been rescheduled for March 5 in Olympia, and venue information can be found on our website at: https://www.boem.gov/National-Program-Participate/.

Background

On January 4, 2018, the Department of Interior announced publication of the 2019-2024 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Draft Proposed Program, as well as a Notice of Intent to develop a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement.

In order to obtain public input on these two documents, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) scheduled a series of public meetings.

The entire list of public meetings and the virtual meeting room are available at https://www.boem.gov/National-Program/.
