New Jersey Renewable Energy Task Force Meeting

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) would like to invite you to attend a New Jersey Renewable Energy Task Force meeting on Thursday, May 19, 2016. The Task Force meeting will begin at 12:50 p.m. and is anticipated to end by 3:30 p.m. Venue information may be found below:

BOEM will provide an overview of the November 9, 2015 New Jersey offshore wind auction results. Additionally, BOEM will describe the contents of the commercial leases, including the environmental stipulations, and next steps in the leasing process. The lessees for New Jersey leases OCS-A 0498 and OCS-A 0499 will be introduced to the Task Force and will be available to answer any questions.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m., and is expected to end by 3:30 p.m. Deputy Assistant Secretary Brandi Colander will attend the meeting and provide opening remarks. A public question and answer session will be held upon its conclusion.

For awareness, BOEM's New Jersey Renewable Energy Task Force is an intergovernmental group. Task Force members include Federal officials and elected state, local, and tribal officials, or designated member representatives.
