On January 22, 2015, BOEM announced the availability of an Environmental Assessment (EA) for public review and comment. The EA was made available for a 30-day comment period, ending on February 23, 2015. In addition to the request for written comments, BOEM held three public meetings to provide an overview of the EA findings and solicit public comments.
