The Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs and the Clean Energy Center invited BOEM to explain the commercial leasing process and provide the public with additional opportunities to provide input on BOEM's Proposed Sale Notice for the Massachusetts Wind Energy Area. Additionally, EEA and CEC provided updates on the findings of a transmission study and next steps in planning and siting as part of the update to the MA Ocean Management Plan. The meetings were held on June 23, 2014 in Vineyard Haven and on June 24, 2014 in New Bedford. Presentations from these meetings are provided below.
