A second task force meeting was held on April 3, 2012, in Plainview, NY. This meeting focused on an update regarding New York's Coastal Management Program's offshore wind energy planning and siting activities, and for the first time Task Force members discussed the New York Power Authority's request for a commercial lease offshore Long Island.
