BOEM’s Gulf of Mexico Region dive team filmed some of the scientific research taking place over 100 miles offshore of Galveston, TX in the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary. BOEM has sponsored and managed one of the world’s longest continuous coral reef research programs on the planet and now by partnering with NOAA Sanctuaries has enhanced the project’s research potential.
