WHEN: Sale 250 begins at 9 a.m. Central Time and the conference call will begin at 10:30 a.m. Central Time Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

BACKGROUND
Tomorrow, March 21, 2018, BOEM will conduct a lease sale offering more than 77 million acres in Federal waters offshore Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida for oil and gas exploration and development. Lease Sale 250, which offers all unleased and non-protected areas in the Gulf of Mexico, will be livestreamed to the public via www.boem.gov. The bid reading begins at 9:00 AM Central Time.
News media representatives are invited to view the sale via the livestream and participate in a news media teleconference following the bid reading. Officials will announce the results of the sale and answer questions.
