From Feb. 11 to Feb. 13, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s Alaska OCS Region Office will host the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) at the 12th meeting of the BOEM Standing Committee on Offshore Science and Assessment (COSA). The committee will livestream the meeting’s open session on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Topics will focus on the Alaska Region’s priorities, operations and development; and on the application of science in Alaska.

COSA encompasses a broad range of expertise in natural and social sciences; relevant disciplines within those broad areas; and collective expertise from academia, industry, government and the non-profit world in all four Outer Continental Shelf regions.

WHAT:     Livestream meeting of the National Academies-BOEM Standing Committee

WHEN:     Feb. 11, 2020. The livestream will begin at 9 am Alaska Time.

WHERE:    Livestreaming instructions will be available on the BOEM and NASEM  websites prior to the meeting.
