Obama Administration To Announce Next Steps For Potential Energy Development In The Mid- And South Atlantic

NORFOLK, Va. — Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Director Tommy P. Beaudreau will hold a press event tomorrow to discuss next steps regarding conventional and renewable energy development in the Mid- and South Atlantic offshore planning areas.

Secretary Salazar, Director Beaudreau will be joined by Douglas W. Domenech, Secretary of Natural Resources for the Commonwealth of Virginia in the visit to Fugro Atlantic, a company that provides geotechnical, hydrogeologic, environmental and marine survey services.
