The purpose of the meeting will be to provide updates on current status of offshore wind planning activities in California. BOEM and the State of California will share information from ongoing discussions on additional considerations for offshore wind off the Central Coast of California, as outlined in the Notice of Availability of Outreach on Additional Considerations for Offshore Wind off the Central Coast of California, posted on the California Energy Commission’s website at https://efiling.energy.ca.gov/Lists/DocketLog.aspx?docketnumber=17-MISC-01.

Members of the public are invited to attend the Task Force meeting and there will be an opportunity for public input after the conclusion of the meeting.

Additional webinar details, including an agenda, will become available on BOEM's website at  https://www.boem.gov/California/. As a reminder, the Task Force is an intergovernmental group. Task Force members include Federal, state, local, tribal, and elected officials. Members of the public are invited to listen, and there will be an opportunity for questions and comments after the close of the meeting.
