You're Invited: BOEM New York Bight Renewable Energy Intergovernmental Task Force Meeting

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) invites you to the agency's upcoming New York Bight Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force meeting on November 28, 2018, in New York, NY. The meeting will be held at the following location:

Hotel Pennsylvania
401 Seventh Avenue at 33rd Street
New York, NY 10001
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss BOEM’s draft Wind Energy Areas that were developed based on information received from the Call for Information and Nominations issued earlier this year.

Members of the public are invited to attend. There will be an opportunity for public input. Additional details, including an agenda and draft Wind Energy Areas, will become available on BOEM's website at https://www.boem.gov/NY-Bight/.

As a reminder, the BOEM New York Bight Renewable Energy Task Force is an intergovernmental group. Task Force members include Federal officials and elected state, local, and tribal officials, and/or designated member representatives. The NY Bight Task Force is comprised of both the New York and New Jersey Renewable Energy Intergovernmental Task Forces. In addition, two representatives from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia and Maryland will be invited to participate. Members of the public are invited to listen and there will be an opportunity for questions and comments during the meeting.
