Santa Ynez Unit Anode Sled Project

In March 2021, ExxonMobil submitted a request to complete platform maintenance to BSEE to begin the Impressed Current Cathodic Protection anode sled and associated submarine power cables project. The Santa Ynez Unit platforms are currently shut-in but must still be duly maintained. The current plan is for the marine installation of the 21 new anode retro buoys and associated submarine power cables. In support of this request, BOEM's Office of Environment produced the following Environmental Assessment.
