Atlantic Shores Scoping Virtual Meetings

On September 30, 2021, BOEM published a Notice of Intent (NOI) to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind projects offshore New Jersey. The following documents are available for viewing:

The NOI initiated a 30-day public comment period that ended on November 1, 2021. During the public comment period, BOEM asked for information that will help define issues and sources of information that should be considered in the EIS. During that time, BOEM hosted three virtual scoping meetings to allow stakeholders to learn more about the COP, ask questions, and provide oral testimony.

BOEM’s virtual scoping meetings were held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 5:00 PM ET
  • Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM ET
  • Monday, October 25, 2021 at 5:00 PM ET

You may find the agenda for all three meetings here: Virtual Scoping Meetings Agenda.
