On Dec. 10, 2025, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management will conduct the Big Beautiful Gulf 1 offshore oil and gas lease sale, offering approximately 80 million acres in federal waters offshore Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
Following the conclusion of the sale, BOEM leadership will announce the results and take questions from the press during the virtual press conference. The lease sale will be conducted live and livestreamed to the public here beginning at 9 a.m. Central Time.
