The fourth New York task force meeting was held on April 28 in Garden City, NY.

BOEM provided an overview of recent and upcoming milestones and activities for considering wind energy development offshore New York. Specifically, BOEM presented the details of a draft Proposed Sale Notice (PSN) and Request for Interest (RFI) for Task Force review and comment. The PSN is a public notice that BOEM will publish later this year in the Federal Register for a 60-day public comment period that solicits public input on an offshore wind auction (i.e., lease sale) for an area in Federal waters offshore New York.
