U.S. - Canada Northern Oil And Gas Research Forum

The fifth Northern Oil and Gas Research Forum convened at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, AK on October 11-13, 2017. Organized by a bi-national committee from the U.S. and Canada, the event included presentations on technical topics ranging from air quality to oil spill response. Key themes throughout the event focused on the importance of indigenous and traditional knowledge; challenges and opportunities from collaboration across disciplines, organizations, or jurisdictions; and strategies for prioritizing and sustaining scientific research in the north.
